my fuel consumption ranges from 11.5-12.5 so its between 550-650 really dependant on what times i drive to uni.

Mostly driving northcote - clayton (peak and non peak hour). also night time driving to city and around the suburbs

car - heavily modified n/a 3.5L tj manual

before starting the mods on my car i was able to drive to sydney on 1 tank of petrol with fuel to spare.

Just did a round trip from Adelaide to Melbourne in a 04 Stock TL AWD VRX. Average for the trip was 9.7lt/100km, including some driving around melbourne, a little dissapointed thought it would be a little lower, at least in the 8's. Hopefully the exhaust when I get it fitted will improve things.

i avg about 450kms - 500 kms before the lgihts comes up, avg about a touch under 13 100% city plus bit of towing for a long long time.

now after using the "new" shell unleaded(being using shell unleaded for a long time) my driving range dropped to 420? figure went up to like 13.7?

the tickets and ads says it was suppose to increase your fuel economy?

I will be travelling from Melbourne to Wagga Wagga Soon and will be using optimax. The drive is about 440kms (Highway). How many kms do ya think 1 full tank (72L) will give me, assuming no traffic and crusing speed of 110km/hr in 5th Gear with all 4 tyres @36psi

My car is a VRX and is stock and i'll be the only 1 in the car. So minimum weight!

ill take a guess and say 100% highway driving will result in 680kms to the 70L tank untill the light comes on.

and u will use roughly 38L to get there.

2003 TJ awd 99,000km im getting around 14.5L/100 on short trips to work 16km each way not going on any reasonable high speed roads for any length of time, taking it reasonably easy, but then nailing it quite a bit too though i reckon it would easily get down at least 1L/100km if i put on the std rims.... the 20's weigh a ton!! and it does make a difference to acceleration and economy (thouroughy tested on previous car) any way i get low 13's on average suburban driving not city eg... preston to springvale etc....

highest consumption to date 44.5l/100km just after i filled up and floged it for about 10min... then reset the comp...

99 3.5l TH Manual Sports. 2.5" Full Exhaust System w/ hotdog, sports muffler & 3" dump tip, full whiteline suspension.

Ive had it six mths and never gotten less than 500klms, and that was based on fangin round the streets of Melbourne. Now living in the country(80% country/20% city cycle) it sits on 8-9l/p 100klms which gives me up to about 700ish per tank, if running premium up to 800per tank.
Its over due for a major service, which will be done shortly, including engine/gearbox oils, flush and refill brake fluid, timing belt, plugs(all 6) & leads, all filters, camshaft seals, new rocker/manifold gaskets. And a new HD clutch will be fitted at the same time.
Hoping this will make it a bit smoother.
